Ireland Bucket List

For me Ireland is home, yet its a disgrace to thing there are so many landmarks in Ireland I haven’t seen. I absolutely love to travel and I firmly believe travelling on a student budget is completely possible, which lead me to start the Irish Student. Last year I was working and saving to go back to college to do a masters. This allowed me to budget and travel further afield than Ireland but this year my focus is to explore more of Ireland. This is a list in no particular order, just places I want to tick off the list.

  • Cliffs of Moher
  • Croke Park Stadium Tour (I have been to Croke Park but want to do the tour)
  • The Burren
  • The book of Kells
  • Newgrange
  • Visit Dalkey Island
  • The Rock Of Cashel

Coming towards the end of 2016 I made it my goal to visit a few more places and during 2016 I visited the Giants Causeway for the first time. Throughout the year I will update you on my visits and any top tips I have about travelling on a budget. There are also so many beautiful places I want to re-visit in Ireland such as,

  • The English Market, Cork.
  • Glendalough, Co.Wicklow.
  • The Sugarloaf Mountain.
  • Dingle, Co. Kerry.

While I love making a Bucket List, nobody know’s where 2017 will take me so I do like a bit of surprise as well. I love last minute trips, sure life is like one big roller coaster that you need to embrace. So here is too 2017, a year of adventure and surprise!

  1. I love your blog. A very interesting list of places to visit. Blarney castle would be another great place. You could kiss the Blarney Stone.

      1. My list is pretty much the same! Only things I have other than that are:

        – Climb Croagh Patrick/Visit Westport
        – Stay in Lusty Begs/Do the Cuilagh Walk (Fermanagh)
        – The National Botanic Gardens
        – Dublin Zoo
        – Kilmainham Gaol
        – Killarney National Park
        – Blarney
